Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Dominic Rivard Inc. ("Consignloop", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Consignloop, our consignment and resale management software. By using the service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a store, we collect your name, email address, store name, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.

Store business data you enter

In cloud mode, we store the data you enter to run your shop: consignor records (which may include names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and payment details you choose to record), inventory, sales, payouts, and store settings (such as your logo, tagline, and currency).

Payment information

Subscription payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number. We store only a Stripe customer/subscription identifier and your subscription status so we can manage your plan.

Technical & usage data

Like most online services, our infrastructure providers automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request logs to operate and secure the service.

On-device mode

If you use "This Device Only" mode, your shop data stays in your browser's local storage on your device and is not sent to our servers.

2. How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your store's business data for advertising.

3. Consignor data

The consignor information a store enters belongs to that store. With respect to consignor personal information, the store is the controller and Consignloop acts as a processor, handling that data on the store's behalf and instructions. Stores are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store their consignors' information.

4. Sharing & service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service, under agreements that require them to protect it. Current key providers include:

ProviderPurpose
StripeSubscription payments and billing
CloudflareApplication hosting and database (Workers + D1)
RailwayHosting for the web application
EmailJS (if you enable email)Sending consignor notification/invite emails you trigger
Google (if you connect Sheets)Optional export of your data to your own Google Sheet

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the public. If our business is transferred, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Payments

Payment processing is provided by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's privacy policy and terms. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.

6. Where data is stored

Cloud data is stored in Cloudflare's database (D1), currently hosted in North America, and may be processed by our providers in other locations. By using the service you consent to this processing.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If a subscription lapses, your data is preserved (not deleted) so you can resume later. If you close your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, signed authentication tokens, and strict per-store data isolation so one store can never access another's data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export your store data from within the app at any time. To exercise other rights, contact us at the address below. Consignors should contact the store they consign with for requests about data that store holds, since the store controls that data.

10. Cookies & local storage

We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (an authentication token), to remember whether you're using cloud or on-device mode, and — in on-device mode — to store your shop data locally. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

11. Children's privacy

The service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in the app) and update the "Last updated" date above.
